Mechanical Engineer Vacancy in Mecca, Saudi Arabia

Responsibilities:

1. Locate remedies to mechanical and hydraulic device troubles.
2. Analyze information about the components to be fixed from the weapons systems (in the workshops/field devices) to identify the opportunity of self-manufacturing the components.
3. Utilize theories of mechanical engineering such as estimations, styles, drawings, and documentation.
4. Locate feasible methods to boost the effectiveness of repair and maintenance treatments.
5. Send outcomes of technological researches to the director of the division, including suggestions for solutions and the application of ideal procedures.
6. Study and evaluate technical problems in various mechanical and hydraulic areas of air defense forces systems.
7. Find solutions to issues out of commission mechanical and hydraulic parts in the base workshops or field units.
8. Study the possibility of changing or developing sub-systems of the Air Defense Forces' systems.
9. Prepare design drawings and styles and define requirements for components so that they can be purchased or made locally.
10. Provide engineering advice and suggestions relevant to mechanical and hydraulic troubles encountered by service centers or units.
11. Prepare technical publications to prevent and correct mistakes and improve performance.
12. Support MTSD workshops with the necessary technical consultations.
13. Perform any work assigned by the Supervisor of the Facility for Research and Applied Engineering.

Required Skills:

1. Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from a certified university.
2. Experience of 5 years in the field of design research and studies (mechanics).
3. Fluency in written and spoken English.
4. Proficiency in computer programs and writing technical documents.
5. Experience with mechanical design programs such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD.

Salary: 3000+ $
