Our mechanical Engineering Team uses cutting-edge technology to design gas and steam turbines, compressors, and expanders.

As an Assembler - Mechanical, you will be responsible for:

1. Assembling components such as Compressors, Motors, pipes, and baseplates per assembly drawings.
2. Operating overhead cranes to move equipment.
3. Working within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
4. Performing assembly/disassembly, adjusting, and installing mechanical components to meet tolerance and product operating requirements.
5. Performing basic mathematical calculations and using general hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment needed for assembly.
6. Performing testing such as hydro tests and pneumatic tests.
7. Performing alignment for Centrifugal Compressors and electrical motors with gearboxes.
8. Complying with all applicable quality, health, safety, and environmental directives and regulations.
9. Having ownership for completion of QC Sheets, manufacturing forms, and completion work forms.

To be successful in this role you will:

1. Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
2. Have 3+ years of experience in packaging lines.
3. Have experience in mechanical activities such as assembly of pipes & equipment and testing.
4. Have knowledge of packaging manufacturing operations.
5. Have experience in alignment for Centrifugal Compressors and electrical motors with gearboxes.
6. Have knowledge of products: Centrifugal Compressor, Gas Turbine, Electrical Motor, Gearbox.
7. Have the ability to read and understand packaging drawings.
8. Have knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective gloves, safety glasses, etc.
9. Have deftness and attention to detail.
10. Be proficient in English.
