Material Controller

1. Material Management: Monitor and manage the material status and inventory levels to ensure sufficient supply without overstocking.
2. Procurement Coordination: Coordinate and manage purchase orders to ensure timely arrival of materials that meet quality standards.
3. Supplier Management: Maintain relationships with suppliers, handle supplier inquiries, and address delivery issues.
4. Logistics Coordination: Ensure efficient and smooth transportation and delivery of materials, addressing any logistics issues.
5. Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate inventory records and generate regular inventory and procurement reports.
6. Vendor Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, evaluate their performance, and address any issues to ensure quality, reliability, and timely delivery of materials.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and quality control, to coordinate material movements, resolve discrepancies, and implement improvements in the material supply chain process as a Material Controller.
8. Inventory Management Systems: Utilize inventory management systems to track and manage stock levels, generate reports, and analyze data for informed decision-making on reorder quantities and inventory turnover.
9. Supplier Negotiation: Negotiate with suppliers for favorable terms, monitor inventory levels, and implement control measures to optimize working capital and reduce costs.

Skills

1. Three (3) years relevant work experience, especially in materials management, inventory control, supply chain management, or procurement.
2. Proficient in inventory management, with strong skills in efficiently managing and organizing inventory, including tracking stock levels, conducting regular audits, and implementing effective replenishment strategies.
3. Efficient in inventory control, with a strong ability to manage and organize stock, ensuring accurate tracking, regular audits, and effective replenishment strategies.
4. Familiar with ERP systems to streamline material tracking and management, generate accurate reports, and make informed decisions to optimize inventory levels.
5. Strong problem-solving capabilities to identify root causes of issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent future discrepancies, contributing to a smooth and efficient supply chain.
