Material Advisor

Eram Talent is currently seeking a Material Advisor to join their team in the Oil & Energy industry. As Material Advisor, you will be responsible for managing the material supply chain and logistics for various projects related to the Oil & Energy industry. You will ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of all materials, as well as oversee inventory management, supplier relationship management, and communication with cross-functional teams.

Has experience in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries and has material procurement experience on large projects. Provides technical support as required and assists in the preparation of the material procurement plan. Identifies, reviews, and monitors priority, long lead, and other required material, and ensures the proper coordination with other project disciplines to meet all procurement milestone dates. Must have thorough knowledge of procurement/materials practices, economic principles, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications.

5. Develop and implement material management strategies that streamline operations and increase efficiency.
6. Identify potential risks to the material supply chain and develop mitigation plans.
7. Monitor and analyze material costs to identify cost-saving opportunities.
