The Marketplace Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our online marketplace, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for customers while driving operational efficiency. This role requires collaboration with various departments to develop strategies that optimize performance and drive growth.
Responsibilities
Overseeing day-to-day operations for order processing
Order receiving in the marketplace platform within the cutoff time
Internal invoicing within the system and handoff the orders to Warehouse team
Follow up with warehouse order preparations
Responsible for coordinating shipping and delivery logistics, managing transportation providers, and ensuring smoothly timely delivery of orders
Return handling on system and pass claims to the account manager
Monitoring performance metrics and track order fulfillments
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, Operations Management, or a related field
3+ years of experience in marketplace operations management or e-commerce
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data-driven decision-making
Experience with major online marketplace platforms (e.g., Amazon, eBay, Noon) is essential
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and performance management
Proficient in inventory management software and analytical
Candidates should have a background in the retail industry.
