Job description

JOB PURPOSE / ROLE:

  • Managing, monitoring and analyzing the products/services performance, benchmarking and tracking moves done by similar entities. Additionally, managing the research agency and activating the insights gathered by building a brand health index to measure the department performance and the entity as a whole, in terms of awareness and perception. Writing white papers that enrich the financial sector market and bringing innovative ideas for the sector.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Strategy

  • Contributes to the development of SIMAH's Marketing Research & Innovation strategy and leadership.

Policies, Processes & Procedures

  • Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Designs the deferred bonus policy based on top management requirements.

Day-to-day operations

  • Manages the day-to-day operations of the unit to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes, and standards.
  • Identifies the current situation regarding marketing needs and gaps within the company.
  • Defines target audience segments through the analysis of geographical, behavioral, psychological, and demographic factors.
  • Conducts detailed market research that aligns with SIMAH's requirements.
  • Coordinates with market research agencies to track the health of the corporate identity using various tools such as social listening, focus groups, custom tracking surveys, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Measures and analyzes the effectiveness of the current brand and corporate identity.
  • Assesses brand positioning to determine awareness among the target audience.
  • Identifies key drivers that influence customer choice of the brand and recommends updates to strategies and/or content accordingly to enhance brand performance.
  • Collaborates with communication, marketing, and other relevant teams to prepare and implement initiatives that ensure consistency in messaging, customer knowledge, and experience, thereby enhancing credibility and ownership of brand positioning.
  • Monitors the implementation of initiatives aimed at enhancing brand awareness and positioning, taking corrective actions when necessary.

Continuous Improvement

  • Oversees the overall unit operational activities within SIMAH and continues the progress within the department.
  • Periodically assesses employee relation processes and ensures the completeness of processes.

People Management

  • Ensures subordinates have clear objectives, regular performance feedback sessions, formal annual appraisals, and individual development plans, with particular emphasis on the development of talented Saudi national staff.

Reporting

  • Oversees the preparation of timely and accurate reports to meet company and department requirements, policies, and standards.

Safety, Quality & Environment

  • Ensures compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies and procedures to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, and a responsible environmental attitude.

Related Assignments

  • Performs other related duties or assignments as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent.

Minimum Experience:

  • 6-8 years of relevant experience.

Language:

  • English: Advanced
  • Arabic: Advanced

  • Strong Business to Business and Business to Customer experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
