Job description

As the Marketing Manager for KSA, your primary objective is to generate demand and increase both online and in-store traffic. You will play a hands-on role in understanding the Saudi consumer landscape and driving local campaigns, including influencer partnerships, seasonal promotions, and brand activations. You will also supervise and support the Marketing Executive, guiding their initiatives to ensure alignment with Lenskart's brand strategy and local goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Consumer Insights & Market Research:

  • Develop a deep understanding of Saudi consumer preferences, particularly within the youth segment (ages 25-34).
  • Conduct and analyze consumer surveys and questionnaires to gain insights into audience preferences, behaviors, and emerging trends.
  • Monitor competitors and industry trends to identify growth opportunities for Lenskart in the Saudi market.

Marketing Strategy & Demand Generation:

  • Develop and implement hands-on marketing campaigns focused on driving both online and offline traffic to increase demand.
  • Execute seasonal campaigns (e.g., Riyadh Season, Ramadan) and other key activations to enhance brand visibility during peak shopping periods.
  • Utilize local cultural insights to create engaging brand activations across KSA to boost consumer engagement, foot traffic, and online conversions.

Social Media & Influencer Marketing:

  • Oversee social media strategy, ensuring content is locally relevant and aligns with the brand's voice.
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with local influencers across fee, revenue share, and barter partnerships to expand brand reach among target audiences.
  • Track the performance and ROI of influencer collaborations, making data-driven decisions to maximize engagement and brand awareness.
  • Lead the creation of locally relevant content (social media posts, video reels, in-store images) that resonates with Saudi audiences and drives traffic to both online and offline channels.
  • Organize in-store and on-location content shoots that reflect the lifestyle, fashion, and trends of the local market.
  • Guide the Marketing Executive in collaborating with influencers and content creators, ensuring they produce high-quality assets that strengthen brand visibility.

Brand & Retail Marketing Activations:

  • Collaborate with mall management and key retail outlets to deliver impactful, on-ground marketing initiatives and consumer interaction points.
  • Develop unique in-mall experiences and activations that provide memorable interactions for Lenskart customers.
  • Work closely with the Operations team to ensure smooth coordination of on-ground activities and activations, aligning marketing strategies with store and staff readiness for optimized consumer experiences.
  • Manage the Marketing Executive by setting objectives, providing guidance, and ensuring that all activities align with Lenskart's marketing strategy.
  • Foster a proactive and collaborative working environment, encouraging the team to propose new ideas and own local activations.

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of all marketing activities, producing reports on campaign results and ROI for online and offline efforts.
  • Use analytics to assess the effectiveness of initiatives and suggest optimizations for future campaigns.

Requirements:

  • Saudi National preferred or strong familiarity with Saudi culture.
  • 5-8 years of experience in marketing, with expertise in social media and influencer marketing.
  • Proven experience in managing fee, revenue share, and barter arrangements with influencers.
  • Strong understanding of Saudi youth culture, trends, and consumer behavior.
  • Experience in executing local marketing campaigns, especially during peak seasons (e.g., Riyadh Season, Ramadan).
  • High social energy and a willingness to work in the field, engaging directly with consumers and partners.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and capable of working independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, social media platforms, and familiarity with key influencers in the Saudi market.
