Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Lead to head and lead our marketing team to develop strategies and execute them end to end. This role is crucial for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in e-commerce or similar senior marketing leadership role within the Saudi or Middle Eastern market and possess over 5 years of experience.

Role & Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Marketing Leadership: Develop and implement data-driven marketing strategies, integrating all departments to ensure cohesive brand messaging and customer engagement across digital, offline, and creative channels.
  2. Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across Digital Marketing, CRM, Creative, and SEO to ensure consistent quality and innovation.
  3. Brand Strategy & Creativity: Shape Soum’s brand identity, ensuring all creativity and messaging aligns with the brand's mission and customer expectations.
  4. Campaign Development: Oversee planning, execution, and analysis of marketing campaigns, both online and offline, tailored for the Saudi market.
  5. Market Analysis: Conduct regular market research to stay ahead of trends, customer preferences, and competitors in the Middle Eastern e-commerce space.
  6. Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Oversee the design of customer journeys and manage CRM initiatives to maximize customer lifetime value and engagement.
  7. Digital Marketing & SEO: Oversee end-to-end digital campaigns and SEO strategies to optimize traffic, ensuring content aligns with brand standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience in e-commerce, ideally in the Saudi/Middle Eastern market.
  • Proven background in leading marketing of a company with strong knowledge of campaign strategies for growth and engagement, marketing best practices, digital marketing, CRM, and SEO.
  • Strong team leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
  • Deep understanding of the Saudi and Middle Eastern customer base and market dynamics.
  • Data-driven approach with experience in performance metrics, A/B testing, and campaign analysis.
