Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Director to join a leading large-scale food retail and restaurants business.

This role is pivotal to the company's growth strategy, overseeing a portfolio of diverse cuisines and brands, and will be responsible for driving innovation, product development, and strategic brand management. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of brand building, product launches, and consumer engagement, while closely collaborating with operations, product development, and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Strategy & Innovation:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to elevate and differentiate the company's various brands and cuisines. Drive innovation in brand positioning, customer experience, and new product launches to ensure sustained growth and market leadership.
  • Product Development & Launch:
  • Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to conceptualize, develop, and launch new food products across multiple brands. Lead efforts to present and brand new products effectively, ensuring alignment with market trends and consumer preferences.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with operations, supply chain, and product teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing and product strategies. Provide strategic insights that align marketing activities with operational capabilities.
  • Brand Management & Execution:
  • Lead the marketing team to develop and implement brand management strategies, ensuring consistency and excellence in product presentation across all touchpoints, including in-store, online platforms, and delivery services (e.g., HungerStation).
  • Media & Advertising Innovation:
  • Spearhead innovative media and advertising campaigns that drive customer engagement and brand loyalty. Leverage both traditional and digital media to position the company as a leader in the food retail and restaurants sector.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Oversee and inspire a team of 12 marketing professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and collaboration. Empower team members to achieve individual and collective goals.
  • Market & Consumer Insights:
  • Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making and continuously optimize marketing strategies. Monitor industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities to stay ahead of the market.
  • Budget Management:
  • Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize return on investment (ROI).
  • Location Strategy:
  • Play a key role in identifying and selecting optimal restaurant locations based on market demand and brand expansion strategies.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience:
  • Minimum 10-12 years of progressive experience in marketing and brand management within the f&b, food retail, hospitality, or restaurants sector. Experience with multi-brand and multi-location operations is a plus.
  • Expertise in Brand Management:
  • Proven track record in developing and executing brand strategies, product launches, and new market entries. Strong knowledge of product presentation and consumer engagement.
  • Product Development Collaboration:
  • Experience working closely with product development and operational teams to successfully launch new products and enhance existing offerings.
  • Media & Advertising Acumen:
  • Expertise in creating and managing innovative media, digital, and advertising campaigns. Strong experience with food delivery platforms like HungerStation and leading marketing initiatives for both dine-in and delivery segments.
  • Leadership Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management experience, with a focus on building high-performing marketing teams.
  • Analytical Thinking:
  • Proficiency in using market research and data analytics to inform marketing decisions and strategies.
  • Communication & Presentation:
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is required. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in launching and managing multiple brands across diverse cuisines.
  • Strong knowledge of food retail and restaurant industry trends, customer behaviors, and competitive dynamics.
  • Willingness to hire and collaborate with talent from different regions and backgrounds to enhance innovation and diversity within the team.
