ASMO is a groundbreaking joint venture between DHL and Aramco. Inheriting DHL’s logistics excellence and Aramco’s extensive supply chain ecosystem, we are here to set a new benchmark and redefine the procurement and supply chain landscape, enabling growth.

ASMO aims to be operational in 2025 and provide reliable end-to-end integrated procurement and supply chain services for companies across the industrial, energy, chemical, and petrochemical sectors. Our focus customers in the short term will be Saudi Aramco and its Affiliates. In the long term, all the industrial sectors within Saudi Arabia aim to reach the MENA region.

Objective:

The Marketing & Communications Specialist (Social Media & Digital Marketing) is responsible for managing ASMO’s social media and digital content strategy, ensuring brand visibility and engagement across multiple platforms. This role requires a hands-on approach in content creation, campaign execution, audience engagement, and performance tracking while working closely with the agency to maintain brand consistency and digital growth. The position plays a key role in enhancing ASMO’s online presence, managing social interactions, and optimizing digital performance.

General Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the agency to create and schedule social media content across LinkedIn, Twitter, and, soon, TikTok.
  2. Monitor social media engagement, ensuring timely responses to comments and messages while overseeing online interactions.
  3. Work with the agency and the design team to develop content, engaging visuals, infographics, and videos that align with ASMO’s brand.
  4. Track social media trends and identify content opportunities to enhance engagement and visibility.
  5. Ensure the agency reviews and optimizes content for effectiveness across ASMO’s digital channels.
  6. Manage and update ASMO’s social media calendar, coordinating with the agency to ensure timely and strategic content distribution.
  7. Align with the Marketing team to develop tailored and targeted digital messaging.
  8. Write engaging and informative social media posts, captions, and articles.
  9. Assist in developing blog posts, case studies, and website content to support ASMO’s thought leadership and digital marketing efforts.
  10. Support paid social media campaigns, tracking performance and effectiveness.
  11. Prepare monthly performance reports and insights based on analytics, identifying areas for improvement.
  12. Execute social media campaigns in collaboration with the marketing agency, ensuring timely rollout and alignment with ASMO’s branding.
  13. Ensure ASMO’s digital brand identity remains strong, consistent, and aligned with corporate objectives.
  14. Coordinate with teams to gather relevant content and updates for digital channels.
  15. Maintain best practices for social media engagement and audience growth.
  16. Assist with other marketing tasks as needed, including event coverage and PR coordination.
  17. Assist in managing marketing budgets and monitor spending against the budget.
  18. Support the adoption of new marketing technologies and processes within the department.
  19. Support the enforcement of ASMO’s digital marketing policies, ensuring brand consistency across all platforms.
  20. Ensure compliance with social media policies and best practices for professional corporate communication.
  21. Present regular and ad-hoc social media reports.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing & Communications, Business Administration, or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is required.
  2. Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written English & Arabic.
  3. 7 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.

Knowledge & Skills:

  1. Managing digital content and running social media accounts for corporate or B2B brands.
  2. Understanding of social media analytics and ability to track performance metrics.
  3. Strong writing and editing skills for social media, blogs, captions, and website content.
  4. Ability to coordinate, plan, and execute digital campaigns.
  5. Familiarity with paid social media, SEO, and content optimization.
  6. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) is a plus.
