Marine Instrument Technician (Jeddah)

In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of marine instrumentation systems, including navigation systems, control valves, sensors, and monitoring equipment. You will collaborate closely with engineers and marine specialists to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

1. Install, configure, calibrate, and maintain marine instrumentation and control systems, with familiarity in using various oceanographic instruments, soldering stations, spectrum analyzers, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other instruments as required.
2. Troubleshoot and diagnose instrumentation issues related to marine operations.
3. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance of marine instrumentation equipment.
4. Coordinate with the engineering team to ensure alignment with marine operational requirements.
5. Document maintenance activities and update technical records accordingly.
6. Prepare reports on instrumentation performance and recommend improvements.
7. Adhere to safety regulations and implement best practices in marine instrumentation operations.
