Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The Manufacturing Engineer will play a crucial role in optimizing production processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes and workflows to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to implement process improvements and resolve production issues.
3. Conduct time studies, process simulations, and capacity analyses to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
4. Design and implement fixtures, tooling, and equipment to support manufacturing processes and ensure product quality.
5. Develop and maintain work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process documentation.
6. Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of production issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
7. Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen events, to drive efficiency and quality improvements.
8. Provide technical support and training to production staff on new processes, equipment, and procedures.
9. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source and qualify new materials, components, and equipment.
10. Stay informed about emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in manufacturing engineering.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
2. 4 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related role.
3. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, principles, and technologies.
4. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
5. Experience with manufacturing tools and techniques, such as CNC machining, injection molding, and assembly.
6. Knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma).
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
