Industry Energy technology (IET) part of Baker Hughes Company operates across 120 countries and serves the entire energy value-chain and industrial sector. We hold an extensive portfolio of rotating equipment, process flow, transmission technology, and lifecycle services. Our mechanical Engineering Team uses cutting-edge technology to design gas and steam turbines, compressors, and expanders.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and releasing work instructions detailing assembly/packaging operations and development of packaging processes and procedures.
- Designing and validating manufacturing tooling/fixtures.
- Providing electro-mechanical support to the production floor.
- Creating product routings within the ERP system, Quality Control sheets, and manufacturing forms.
- Supporting all aspects of pre-production and post-launch production through to project closure.
- Influencing design to ensure new designs are optimized for manufacture, performance, yield, and cost.
- Leading process mapping activities to identify manufacturing risks and optimize build/test processes.
- Providing dedicated technical support to the packaging operations, providing quick and effective solutions to daily production issues.
- Supporting new product introductions and custom product NCR resolution.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have a bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in compressors or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Have experience in rotating equipment.
- Have fluency in English and Arabic.
Desired Characteristics
- Have packaging experience for compressors or turbine trains.
- Familiar with lifting plans for heavy items.
- Have experience and a high level of technical expertise and skill to plan, design, set up, modify, optimize, and monitor manufacturing processes.
- Have strong oral and written communication skills.
- Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Have the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
- Have effective problem identification and solution skills.
- Have proven analytical and organizational ability.
