Job Summary:
NLC is seeking a Quality Excellence & HSE Manager to lead its Quality and Health, Safety, & Environmental (HSE) department. This role is responsible for driving product excellence, obtaining ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation for NLC's in-house laboratory, and enforcing ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards across all three divisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, compliance, lab accreditation, and HSE management within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Management & Lab Accreditation
- Develop, implement, and maintain NLC's Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 and industry best practices.
- Lead the ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation process for NLC's in-house laboratory to ensure independent testing and certification of lighting products.
- Ensure product compliance with SASO, IEC, and other international standards across the Lighting, System Integration, and Power Control divisions.
- Establish and oversee inspection, testing, and calibration processes to enhance product reliability.
- Work closely with R&D, Production, and Supply Chain teams to improve product quality and reduce defects.
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Management
- Develop and implement HSE policies in line with ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) standards.
- Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety training programs across all three divisions.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi labor laws, environmental regulations, and industry-specific HSE requirements.
- Drive sustainability initiatives, including energy efficiency and waste reduction in manufacturing processes.
Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Manage and develop the Quality & HSE team, ensuring alignment with NLC's strategic goals.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and other quality methodologies.
- Monitor KPIs for quality and safety performance, presenting reports and action plans to top management.
- Collaborate with the Lighting, System Integration, and Power Control divisions to standardize quality processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 8-10 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Lab Accreditation, and HSE management within a manufacturing environment (preferably in lighting, electrical, or system integration industries).
- Proven track record in achieving ISO/IEC 17025 lab accreditation.
- Expertise in ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and other relevant international standards.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement techniques.
- Familiarity with Saudi regulatory requirements (SASO, SFDA, MOMRA, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and drive organizational change.
