Manager, Product Security

Job Purpose
The System Requirement Manager oversees the development and management of system requirements for automotive projects. He/she ensures that the requirements are clearly defined, documented, and aligned with project objectives. By collaborating with cross-functional teams (Homologation, Safety and Security), the System Requirement Manager plays a crucial role in translating customer needs and regulatory standards into actionable system requirements.

Key Functional Responsibilities

1. Develop and manage system requirements for automotive projects, ensuring alignment with customer needs, regulatory standards, and project objectives.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, testing, and quality assurance to define, document, and prioritize system requirements.
3. Facilitate requirement review meetings and negotiations to resolve conflicts, prioritize requirements, and gain stakeholder consensus.
4. Establish and maintain traceability between system requirements, design specifications, and validation tests throughout the product development lifecycle.
5. Monitor and track changes to requirements, assessing impacts on project scope, schedule, and cost.
6. Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards, regulations, and quality management systems.
7. Provide guidance and support to project teams on requirement management processes, tools, and best practices.
8. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of requirement management processes.

Job Requirements

1. Master of Science in Electrical/Computer Science Engineering or other related field, and/or equivalent post-graduate qualification from a recognized university.
2. Proven experience of at least 7 years in requirements management within the automotive industry, preferably in system engineering or product development roles.
3. Deep understanding of automotive systems, components, and architecture.
4. Familiarity with automotive standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE, ASIL classification).
5. Proficiency in requirement management tools (e.g., DOORS, Plarion, Medini-analyze) and systems engineering methodologies.
6. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate customer needs into actionable requirements.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and internal/external stakeholders.
8. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and completeness in requirement documentation.
9. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
10. Certification in requirement engineering (e.g., REQB, IREB) is a plus.
