Manager - Park Security

The Manager - Park Security is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of departmental plans and goals, coordinating daily operations, and ensuring compliance with regulations and security surveillance systems. This position oversees Six Flags Theme Park and provides support and management oversight to all team members and senior management within the team. The role executes plans that support guest safety improvement, employee development, and work environment enhancements.

Pre-opening Responsibilities:

1. Develop all security processes and procedures for use within Six Flags Theme Park and assist the Senior Manager - Park Security in developing and implementing plans and goals for the department.
2. Assist the Associate Director - Park Security in developing all security documentation, SOPs & forms for use within the park.
3. Continually monitor and assess the threat level towards the park and implement the appropriate responses.
4. Work in liaison with external stakeholders including, but not limited to, all regulatory authorities within the KSA and the IP partners associated with the theme park.
5. Collaborate with external contractors during design and construction to ensure the control room, CCTV, fire alarm, security systems, access control, crowd control, and guest flow management are planned and implemented.
6. Work closely with the Learning & Development Manager to establish a robust training plan for new and existing team members at all levels, including a detailed department induction.
7. Assist with recruitment efforts for the Security Operations team.

During Operations Responsibilities:

1. Ensure all Security Department personnel have a detailed understanding of Park Emergency Operations Procedures, including but not limited to Venue Evacuation Procedures.
2. Manage a team of Park Security Assistant Managers, Team Leaders, Officers, and Parking Assistants to deliver world-class safety service to Six Flags Theme Park visitors.
3. Develop and maintain working relationships with local law enforcement as well as the Civil Defense team, CID, Police, and Tourism Department.
4. Continuously work towards improving operational efficiency and overall guest safety experience.
5. Enforce all park policies, procedures, and maintain all Six Flags and Qiddiya standards, including consistency with department goals for quality, safety, and efficiency.
6. Carry out the role of the Security Department Duty Manager on a rotational basis and all other duties assigned.
7. Develop, manage, and deliver comprehensive yearly training and exercise plans with the management team.
8. Be responsible for the overall safety of all guests and colleagues within and while visiting Six Flags Theme Park.
9. Manage the day-to-day Security Operations for the Park while providing world-class guest service and being accountable for operational excellence regarding safety, efficiency, and capacity.
10. Continually monitor and assess the threat level towards the park and implement the appropriate responses.
11. Provide training, development, mentoring, and evaluation of security staff.
12. Investigate all acts of crime or any losses incurred against guests, patrons, or staff to determine those responsible and proceed with any necessary prosecution/recovery of losses.
13. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

1. College degree program or equivalent functional experience is preferred.
2. 3-6 years of managerial experience in the Middle East, with pre-opening and/or project management in security operations. Previously held senior management level positions (Assistant Manager/Manager).
3. Extensive knowledge of fire prevention, safety, and security operations.
4. Excellent management and supervisory skills.
5. Strong knowledge of all Microsoft applications.
6. Fluent in English.
7. Advanced knowledge of compliance and regulations, Saudi MOI law, and industrial security.
8. Proficiency in self-actualization & fulfillment, team synergy & development, entrepreneurial mindset & drive, and business acumen & diligence at an advanced level.
