Manager, Operations (DAP)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Manager of Operations specializing in DAP (Diammonium Phosphate) production. The Manager will oversee and optimize all operational aspects of the DAP production unit, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering, extensive experience in DAP production, and proven leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee all operational activities within the DAP production unit to achieve production targets, quality goals, and operational efficiency.

2. Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize production processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance.

3. Lead and mentor a team of production supervisors, operators, and technicians, fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork.

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless operations and timely resolution of issues.

5. Monitor production data, analyze key performance indicators, and implement corrective actions to address deviations and improve productivity.

6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies in all operational activities.

7. Participate in the development and execution of capital projects, process improvements, and upgrades within the DAP production unit.

8. Prepare operational reports, budget proposals, and strategic plans for senior management review.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
