Manager - Interline and Accounts Reconciliation

The Accounting Cargo Interline Revenue Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of interline revenue within a cargo transport and logistics environment. This role ensures accurate accounting, reconciliation, and reporting of interline revenues across partner airlines, carriers, or logistics providers.

Job Specific Accountabilities:

• Oversee and manage the accounting of interline cargo revenues from partner airlines or carriers.
• Ensure accurate and timely invoicing for interline cargo services.
• Monitor and review interline revenue agreements and identify any discrepancies or opportunities for revenue optimization.
• Conduct analysis to ensure that credit risk is balanced with business objectives.
• Ensure that policies and procedures (internal controls) are in place to provide reasonable assurance that the company assets are protected.
• Conduct work relating to both internal and external audits in the periodic review of the company’s financial records.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and support to all cargo revenue accounting teams.
• Ensure that company financial records under responsibility are maintained in compliance with the company’s policies.
• Provide reports to support the allocation of the annual budget for the cargo revenue accounting department.
• Work cross-functionally with sales, billing, and collections teams to ensure seamless revenue recognition and cash application processes.
• Lead the monthly reconciliations of revenue accounts and investigate and resolve discrepancies in revenue data.
• Stay up to date on revenue recognition accounting standards and company policies, implementing changes as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, Economics or equivalent.
• A minimum of 6 - 8 years of experience in the same or similar field.
