Job Summary:

The Mall Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the mall, ensuring a high standard of service and a safe, enjoyable shopping experience for customers. This role involves supervising staff, managing customer relations, coordinating with tenants, and ensuring that mall operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Staff Supervision:

Manage and support a team of mall employees, including security personnel, maintenance staff, and customer service representatives.

Conduct regular performance reviews, provide training, and address any staffing issues or conflicts.

Schedule staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak and off-peak hours.

Customer Service:

Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.

Ensure all customer service operations meet or exceed established standards.

Oversee the implementation of customer service initiatives and promotions.

Operational Management:

Monitor mall facilities and ensure that all areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Coordinate with maintenance and repair teams to address any issues or emergencies.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.

Tenant Relations:

Serve as the primary point of contact for mall tenants, addressing their needs and concerns.

Assist with tenant onboarding, lease renewals, and the resolution of operational issues.

Organize and facilitate tenant meetings and events.

Security Oversight:

Work closely with security personnel to ensure a safe environment for shoppers, staff, and tenants.

Review and enforce security protocols and emergency response procedures.

Address any incidents or breaches of security in accordance with mall policies.

Marketing and Events:

Collaborate with the marketing team to support mall promotions, events, and advertising initiatives.

Assist in organizing and managing mall events, including holiday promotions and special sales.

Monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and customer engagement activities.

Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of daily operations, incidents, and maintenance activities.

Prepare regular reports for the Mall Manager regarding operational performance, tenant feedback, and customer satisfaction.

Ensure proper documentation and adherence to mall policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field preferred.

Proven experience in retail or mall management, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and resolve issues efficiently.

Familiarity with safety and security protocols.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
