Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician specializing in Sandvik or Epiroc Drill Rigs to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of heavy drilling equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on Sandvik and Epiroc Drill Rigs.

Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and conduct repairs to minimize downtime.

Conduct inspections and testing to identify potential failures and implement proactive solutions.

Work closely with the operations team to ensure equipment readiness and efficiency.

Maintain and calibrate drilling equipment as per manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.

Document all maintenance activities, including troubleshooting logs and repair records.

Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while performing maintenance tasks.

Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

️ Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

️ Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in Sandvik or Epiroc Drill Rig maintenance.

️ Strong understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems in drilling equipment.

️ Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults.

️ Experience with diagnostic tools and software used in drill rig maintenance.

️ Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.

️ Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance with industry regulations.

️ Effective problem-solving and teamwork skills.

️ Willingness to work in remote locations and under challenging conditions when required.
