Maintenance Technical Manager

The Client:

Our client is a leading FMCG company in Saudi Arabia, known for its excellence and innovation in the production industry. We are on the lookout for an experienced Maintenance Technical Manager to lead and optimize maintenance strategies within a dynamic factory environment.

The Role:

As the Maintenance Technical Manager, you will play a critical role in defining and leading the maintenance strategy and activities across the factory, ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the targeted budget. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of production environments to drive operational excellence and equipment reliability.

1. Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy to enhance equipment performance and minimize downtime.
2. Lead and manage the factory maintenance team, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
3. Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
4. Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and resource allocation.
5. Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve equipment performance and reduce maintenance costs.
6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
7. Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to align maintenance activities with overall business goals.
8. Analyze maintenance data and KPIs to drive informed decision-making and improve performance metrics.
9. Manage and develop the technical skills of the maintenance team through training and mentoring.

The Ideal Candidate:

1. 10+ years of relevant experience in a production environment, including at least 5 years in maintenance management roles with progressively increasing managerial responsibilities.
2. Experience in managing large teams in a factory environment.
3. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of driving operational improvements.
5. In-depth understanding of maintenance processes, equipment reliability, and industry best practices.
6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
8. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency and cost control.
