Job Description

Leads all aspects of maintenance operations in NCC premises Kingdom wide, ensuring policies & procedures are followed, tasks are completed efficiently, and downtime is minimized while maintaining safe work practices. Responsibilities include developing Maintenance policies & procedures, conducting inspections, preventative, and corrective maintenance plans, scheduling maintenance, analyzing corrective maintenance issues, and supervision of maintenance projects implementation. Ensure maintenance regulators and CBAHI requirements are met in all premises.

Accountabilities

  • Supervise the maintenance work of personnel engaged in a day-to-day maintenance of NCC facilities like clinics, satellite labs, provider lab. Act with maintenance employees along with other technical personnel to develop proactive and effective team working together to attain set objectives of the organization.
  • Establish schedules and plan for providing maintenance services in NCC facilities by identifying resources, required materials, categories of work, priorities and facilities needs for proper allocation and delegation of resources. Provides technical supervision, custodial & event support during work implementation and execution to assure the quality work standard of completion.
  • Contribute to the development of goals, objectives, policies, and procedures for facilities maintenance. Propose changes and improvements to existing standards to ensure efficiency and compliance. Monitor work activities to ensure adherence to established guidelines.
  • Supervise implementation of corrective & preventive maintenance programs, and safety programs according to Service Level Agreement or SLA, and approved schedule respectively. Ensures the work will be executed based on Standard Operating Procedure and HQSE (Health, Safety, and Quality & Environment) policies with complete reports as reference.
  • Participate in the preparation and administration of the maintenance budget. Submit budget recommendations for allocation and phasing and monitor expenditures according to budget plan.
  • Manage and ensure petty cash funds are physically secured, attended, and utilized through the approved process and procedures. Execute proper liquidation and reimbursement of maintenance expenses on a regular basis and always maintain availability.
  • Monitor and control supplies and stock of warehouse for maintenance. Assure the accuracy & availability of stock items based on the day-to-day requirements of the team through issuing, requesting and ordering of required items for maintenance.
  • Coordinate and supervise implementation of construction projects, refurbishment, and other special projects aligned to NCC facilities requirements and allocated budget. Ensures the compliance of receiving completed projects including new constructed NCC facilities based on standard quality of work and approved specification.
  • Participate in regular maintenance performance review meetings with the team to review and possibly suggest changes or inputs to enhance the existing procedures and policies related to maintenance, quality, safety and environment through reports and actual experiences from the team to improve performances.
  • Conduct a regular maintenance inspection of NCC premises to check all building system operation and function that required maintenance, as well as the safety requirements of NCC premises in line to standard requirements from Ministry of Civil Defense.
  • Participate in hiring qualified and high caliber candidates for any vacant position within the maintenance team. Provides orientation for new members regarding related processes, policies, and procedures of department.
  • Provide leadership, motivation and coaching for individual members of the team or staff to lead them in the correct path and execution of work in line with the existing processes, procedures and policies of maintenance, health, quality, safety and environment, as well as the company guidelines.
  • Take part in regular meetings with service providers to discuss issues and enhancement of services provided to maintain mutual understanding and constant communication. Prepare terms of contract to be agreed with second party that will cover all scope of work required in line to maintenance and construction services.
  • Participate in reviewing maintenance structure through workload analysis and resources distribution in providing quality and safety maintenance services in NCC premises across the regions.
  • Execute strict compliance of Safety, Health & Environment policies within the organization to have a safe and healthful workplace for each member of the maintenance team. Participate and ensure implementation for reporting, response & corrective actions of unsafe & unhealthful workplace conditions, hazards during task's execution, and safety incidents.
  • Ensure each member of staff takes necessary technical & safety trainings as recommended & scheduled. Contribute in identifying required trainings or courses for staff to maximize the productivity and efficiency of work & quality services provided in clinics.
  • Address ad-hoc incidents that might occur regarding the maintenance in NCC premises.
  • Update utilities database on a regular basis (electricity, water, internet) to avoid downtime in the service and to ensure governance.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders (internal and external) in executing new construction and decoration work for eligible premises or for new required expansion or layout change projects.
  • Accountable for documenting and counting the assets and setting the annual budget for replacement or upgrade.
  • Perform other duties as may be required or assigned by direct Manager.

  • Indoors : 20%
  • Outdoors : 80%
  • Working Days : 6 Working Days per week
  • Days off : 1 Day Off per Week
  • Working Hours : 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1 hour break)

Job Requirement

  • Education: BSc Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or Diploma.
  • Experience: 3 Years of Experience in MEP Engineering field (mechanical, electrical and plumbing).
  • Computer Skills: MS Office Suite, Basic Auto CAD.
  • Languages: English, Arabic.
