Maintenance Manager: Facility and CNC Machines: Dammam 2nd Industrial city

Job Summary

Reporting to the director of operations, the Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating all maintenance operations, with a specific focus on CNC machine maintenance and comprehensive facility management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the maintenance and facility management team to achieve the following:
2. Develop specialized maintenance protocols for CNC machinery.
3. Implement predictive and preventive maintenance strategies and checklists for all equipment.
4. Conduct regular calibration and performance diagnostics of CNC machines.
5. Manage CNC machine tool life cycle and replacement planning.
6. Troubleshoot complex CNC machine technical issues.
7. Ensure optimal machine performance and minimal downtime.
8. Maintain detailed maintenance logs and performance records for CNC equipment.
9. Oversee comprehensive facility maintenance across all operational areas.
10. Manage building infrastructure, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and structural integrity.
11. Utilize CNC machine maintenance software.
12. Utilize facility management tools.
13. Implement predictive maintenance technologies.
14. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
15. Coordinate major repair and renovation projects through dealing with the contractors.
16. Ensure compliance with local building codes and company safety regulations.
17. Perform root cause analysis for equipment failures.
18. Implement condition monitoring techniques.
19. Manage maintenance inventory for both CNC machines and facility equipment.
20. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking and reporting.
21. Communicate with local authorities for all facility-related matters.
22. Adhere to all NOV and country HSE policies and procedures.

Experience/Education/Skill-set Required

Required Qualifications (Academic and Technical)

1. Bachelor's degree in an engineering field.
2. Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
3. Advanced knowledge of CNC machine types (milling, turning, grinding), programming, and control systems.
4. Expertise in precision machining maintenance (certification in CNC machine maintenance preferred).
5. Comprehensive understanding of industrial facility maintenance (including knowledge of building management systems).
6. Familiarity with safety compliance standards (OSHA, ISO).
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Technical Competencies

1. Advanced diagnostic skills for complex machinery.
2. Proficiency in CNC machine maintenance software, facility management tools, and predictive maintenance technologies.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Working Conditions

1. Requires frequent movement between CNC machine areas and facility zones.
2. Physical work involving equipment inspection and troubleshooting.
3. Exposure to manufacturing environment.
4. Requires use of specialized diagnostic and maintenance tools.
5. Work travel to other NOV plants is expected.
