Maintenance Manager

Awtad is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team. As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of maintenance operations within our properties. You will ensure that our properties are well-maintained and meet the highest quality standards. You will also be responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians and coordinating their daily activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building maintenance, excellent organizational and leadership skills, and a passion for providing exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
2. Manage and oversee a team of maintenance technicians, including hiring, training, and performance management
3. Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections
4. Ensure that all maintenance work is completed on time and within budget
5. Oversee the procurement of equipment and supplies for maintenance operations
6. Monitor the condition of properties and identify areas for improvement or repair
7. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
8. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and expenses
9. Collaborate with other departments, contractors, and vendors to coordinate maintenance work
10. Respond to maintenance emergencies and resolve issues in a timely manner

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in building maintenance or a similar role
3. Proven experience in managing a team of maintenance technicians
4. Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices and building systems
5. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
6. Strong organizational and time management skills
7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
9. Proficiency in computer applications related to maintenance management
