Position Overview

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating specialized equipment to produce premium candles. You’ll monitor production lines, ensure product consistency, and collaborate with team members to maintain our high standards of quality and efficiency.

Shifts & Pay

• 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM): $15.00/hour
• 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM): $17.00/hour
• 3rd Shift (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM): $18.00/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and Monitor Machinery: Run candle-making equipment (pouring, extruding, pressing) while ensuring optimal performance.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain precise production records, perform inspections, and ensure products meet our strict standards.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Identify and resolve minor mechanical issues and assist with preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, especially when handling hot wax, dyes, wicks, glass, and other raw materials.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across departments to meet daily production targets and improve processes.
• Housekeeping: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior manufacturing or machine operation experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.
• Solid communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
