Logistics Supervisor, AMZL

Description

Your responsibilities:

1. Support the overall, daily management of operational duties, deputizing for the Operations Manager as required.
2. Prioritize and continually improve safety at the delivery station.
3. Supervise logistics assistants, coordinators, and delivery associates to ensure shipments are delivered meeting and exceeding operational KPIs.
4. Monitor coordinator and associate performance, coaching them when needed, and partner with supporting departments to improve logistics processes.
5. Communicate with delivery service providers to set expectations and raise the quality of their deliverables.
6. Interview candidates for associate roles.
7. Brief and monitor the workload of all drivers and associates, ensuring all administrative tasks are accurately completed.
8. Measure and monitor overall workflows and daily metrics to assist the Operations Manager with tracking, trending, and reporting on site performance.
9. Help with training and mentoring new Associates, providing them with the knowledge needed to successfully carry out their tasks.
10. Follow-up on and resolve any process-related issues as required.
11. Be flexible to work in different shifts and do overtime when needed.
12. Resource your function from a personal standpoint, including training needs, absence and performance management, coaching, and monitoring department productivity.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. Experience managing teams
2. Experience with planning, performance metrics, and process improvement

2. Experience with data analysis
