Logistics Supervisor

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee logistics outbound operations and ensure efficient supply chain processes.
2. Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
3. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
4. Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures.
5. Schedule shipments and deliveries, overseeing the transportation of products from one location to another.
6. Maintain warehouse inventory by studying client or customer needs and managing inventory based on these needs.
7. Understand planning, shipping, warehouse management, and inventory systems.
8. Manage daily routes/schedules of shipments and deliveries.
9. Track the progress of shipments.
10. Understand 3PL/2PL deliveries.
11. Plan routes and manage outbound deliveries.
12. Responsible for accurate and timely pulling and shipping of MOs for production by coordinating with Material Handling.
13. Coordinate and ensure proper loading and unloading of all trucks.
14. Manage drivers and helpers.
15. Coordinate with warehouses, finance, and sales.

Skills:

Academic and Professional Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or industrial engineering.

Experience:

5+ years of experience, preferably in the consumer products/packaged goods sector.
