KONE Logistics vision is to offer a seamless material flow to our customers providing quality, transparency, and proactive communication. To achieve this, we are looking for a Regional Logistics Manager to lead logistics teams and operations across the region reporting to the Logistics Director APM.


Responsibilities


  1. Represents the local Logistics Cluster and report to Area Logistics Director
  2. Develop and execute logistics strategies for the Cluster with Global and Area logistics, and business stakeholders in NBS, MOD, and Service
  3. Manages local country logistics teams
  4. Coordinates with local Country teams to ensure timely, quality, and cost-competitive supply of equipment and spare parts within the Cluster
  5. Collaborates with Logistics Development Management
  6. Identifies cross-unit/cross-regional logistics partner network opportunities and risks
  7. Manages logistics budget within Cluster

People Management


  1. Coordinates and oversees the work of subordinates and contributes to the organization’s logistics strategy effectively and consistently according to established guidelines and budgets
  2. Responsible for team competence development, employee satisfaction, and motivation
  3. Sets and monitors team/individual performance objectives
  4. Responsible for communication to the team
  5. Responsible for people management of the team
  6. Responsible for KONE Way Logistics Operating Model in the Cluster, including related organizational setup and resourcing
  7. Ensure effective deployment and benefit realization of KONE Way and local initiatives
  8. Provide input and feedback about changes needed to KONE Way

Performance Measures


  1. On Time Delivery, Damages, Clearance compliance, Cost/unit, inventory accuracy, etc.
  2. Savings performance in Cluster
  3. Logistics contract coverage of consumed logistics services in area (following global service offering management)
  4. Health and safety
  5. Quality and timeliness of Logistics reporting in area

Professional Requirements


  1. International logistics management
  2. Logistics suppliers and network management
  3. People management
  4. Stakeholder management
  5. Change management
  6. Project management
  7. Costing and account management
  8. Technical and/or commercial degree, MSc in relevant major (e.g. Logistics and Supply Chain) and/or MBA as a plus
  9. Fluent level of English is a must, additional languages (e.g. Arabic) as a plus
  10. Minimum 7 years of experience in Logistics, supply chain management, or relevant area
  11. Proven ability to work in an international environment
  12. Willingness to travel extensively
  13. Proven leadership/cross-functional team skills
  14. Experience with SAP or similar procurement systems preferred
  15. Project Management and Process Improvement experience
  16. Strong communication skills – verbal and written, ability to communicate effectively to varied audiences
  17. Able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  18. Understanding of and experience with supplier and subcontractor negotiations, understanding of commercial terms and conditions related to procurement of goods and services
