The IK Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that the Project scope of work activities are managed and delivered in an effective and safe manner. Will assist in developing appropriate project organizational capabilities, liaising closely with Project Management Team (PMT) to ensure the requirements of all activities are managed and delivered in accordance with business requirements and to maintain awareness of, and control exposure to, operational and commercial risks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinating with the project team on a day-to-day basis to ensure that the project is progressing as planned. Plan IK logistics strategy and execute on the delivery plan for each project
Supervise Shipping and Logistics team, and provide mentorship, identify gaps and plan the team’s development
Set direction and target on Logistics operations
Provide Shipping, Warehousing & Logistics Management support to internal business divisions
Identify, develop, and implement continuous improvement and new initiatives that optimise service, and operational costs for the Company
Track and report operations volume, customer service level and all aspects of shipping and logistics costs
Assist in set-up of new warehousing & operations facilities (as required)
Ensure smooth transportation and operational planning of all shipment
Manage sub-contractors in IK and OOK as required
Ensure continuous improvements on Shipping, Warehousing and Logistics processes and operations
Provide daily reports to the PMT and offshore vessels (as required)
Degree in Supply chain / Logistics / Warehousing Management or related discipline
Relevant experience in warehousing management with 2 years in supervisory management position
Experience of working on CRPO Projects in KSA is a must
Vendor Management and SAP working knowledge
Good Shipping procurement and management experience
Strong problem-solving, negotiation and solutions orientation skills
At least 5-10 years of experience in offshore oil & gas industry, including 5 years in an Logistics role within the O&G /marine industry.
Relevant experience working on previous EPCI or T&I offshore construction projects is required
Previous track record of working on Saudi Aramco LTA Projects of similar scopes is required
Good planning and organizational skills, will need to liaise with the following (internal / external) depts

Ability to work efficiently in a team environment split in various geographical locations
Strong project management skills, including the ability to create and implement project plans, manage budgets and expenses, and identify and manage risks.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate project status, changes, and updates to stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
Strong leadership skills, including the ability to manage and lead project teams and coordinate with other stakeholders.
Knowledge of offshore regulations and standards, including safety regulations and environmental regulations.
Familiarity with offshore equipment and materials, including vessel chartering and procurement of equipment and materials.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and manage risks associated with offshore projects.
Fluent in English
Competent MS Office Suite User and Project Management Software tools such as MS Project
Other requirements: Must be willing to be based in KSA for extended periods of time
