The position involves efficiently managing Local Content (LC) activities, adhering to defined policies and procedures, to achieve departmental operational plans and developments. To implement and monitor Local Content within contract execution processes starting from the RFP stage until closure of the contract to ensure optimizing Local Content during the execution activities.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop and execute a local content strategy that aligns with the overall marketing and business objectives.
- Create and manage high-quality, engaging, and culturally relevant content across various platforms, including social media, websites, and other digital channels.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify and leverage local storytelling opportunities.
- Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to optimize and improve content strategies.
- Stay updated on local trends, events, and cultural nuances to inform content creation and localization efforts.
- Maintain brand consistency and ensure all content meets the company's standards and guidelines.
- Identify and develop relationships with local influencers, content creators, and media outlets to expand the reach of local content initiatives.
- Work closely with the marketing and communications teams to integrate local content into broader marketing campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and guidelines related to content creation and distribution.
- The business unit is mandated to self-report annual and quarterly contracts in accordance with local content requirements, with the process approved by a third-party auditor at the end of the contract, this activity will be carried out by this role.
- Continues dialog with supporting function to improve training activities and other factors to enhance the local content score further.
- Support the evaluation of annual performance of entities and conduct the needed research to provide recommendations to reward or penalize accordingly.
- Lead the activities related to supporting the government entities in reviewing the proposals submitted by the bidders.
- Lead the activities related to updating and upgrading the data acquisition processes, addition or exception requests.
- Lead the activities related to setting minimum Local Content threshold for the different types of projects and involve different internal or external stakeholders as required.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, Management, Engineering or any related field.
- Sensitive and responsive to the needs of different religious, ethnic, tribal, and cultural groups.
- Proven integrity and high personal standards of behaviour.
- Experience in working in a multinational and multicultural environment, as well as proven interpersonal skills and ability to successfully engage with diverse audiences.
- Relationship Management / Communication – Proficient.
