Provide legal advice on corporate matters, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
Identify potential legal risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with local, national, and international laws and regulations.
Study contracts with external firms, identify risks, and protect the company's interests.
Litigation Management:
Manage litigation cases and collaborate with external counsel when necessary.
Represent the company in legal proceedings to safeguard corporate interests.
Coordinate with external legal offices on more complex or escalated cases.
Compliance Oversight:
Oversee corporate compliance programs, ensuring adherence to industry regulations.
Support internal audits and provide legal guidance on compliance matters.
Write and review contracts to ensure they align with regulatory and business requirements.
Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices, taking into account "international best practice," improvement of business processes, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.
Safety, Quality & Environment:
Comply with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
6 to 8 years of experience in corporate legal practice.
Deep understanding of Saudi legal system.
Bachelor's degree in Law, or equivalent is required.
Professional legal qualification e.g., SASL is required.
Saudi Bar Association membership is required.
Corporate Law, Commercial Law, or Intellectual Property certifications is preferred.
