Overall Summary

Lead Flow Assurance Engineer with proven experience in the design of pipelines, utilities and offsite piping system/pipeline from conceptual stage through detailed design of medium to large size projects. Thorough knowledge of projects/process & flow assurance engineering practices, economics principles, calculation methods, international standards, codes, specifications, and procedures. Minimum 15 years' experience in Oil & Gas, Hydrocarbons, and/or Infrastructure industries. Excellent communication skills required.

Responsibilities:

Has demonstrated experience in pipeline flow assurance and hydraulic calculations. Has been working as a pipeline simulation engineer. Knowledge of project engineering practices, international codes, standards, procedures, and specifications.

1. Good experience in steady-state and transient hydraulic analyses using industry standard software like SPS, PIPENET and PIPESIM.
2. Capability to use other Process tools like HYSYS, PVTSIM, and Multiflash.
3. Review and approve process deliverables (PFDs, P&IDs, Design Basis, Process Narratives, Process Calculations, Equipment Specification documents, etc).
4. Experience in performing surge analysis on liquid lines using simulation tools like SPS.
5. Capability to design surge protection systems.
6. Capability of simulating gas networks.
7. Must be able to demonstrate experience in single and multiphase pipelines hydraulic simulation.
8. Familiar with applicable regulations, codes, and standards.
9. GCC experience, particularly Saudi Aramco experience will be preferred.
10. Work independently and create a positive work environment.
11. Experience with firewater demand calculations and equipment requirements, industrial drainage design and equipment, familiarity with the associated Saudi Aramco standards and NFPA requirements are desirable.
12. Provide technical leadership to ensure that applicable procedures and standards (client, KBR and international) are correctly applied.
13. Must be proficient in English, oral and written.
14. Excellent technical presentation skills required.

Qualifications & Years Of Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.
2. 15 years' experience in process and flow assurance.
3. Candidates must hold an Engineering Degree Qualification or equivalent from a government recognized institution.
