The Senior Design Engineer is responsible for undertaking mechanical engineering activities related to Surface Pressure Control (SPC) products and technology.

As Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

1. Designing and Project Engineering for API 6A Products - Surface Wellheads and Trees.
2. Executing the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements. This work would include mechanical engineering for all products.
3. Applying existing technologies, approaches, methodologies in new combinations to design new products, systems, or processes. Viewed internally and externally as a specialist in the discipline.
4. Providing technical leadership to personnel/cross-functional teams supporting the assigned project.
5. Presenting project plans, technical roadmaps, risks, and recommendations to senior business leaders (EB and SEB) within the technical space and occasionally to senior leaders in partner technical teams.
6. Communicating solutions across the own function and with cross-functional partner organizations.
7. Mentoring and developing early career technical talent.

To be successful in this role you will:

1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in Surface Wellhead and Flow Control Equipment (including API 6A equipment).
3. Strong oral and written communication skills.
4. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
5. Creo and Mathcad proficiency.
6. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
7. Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects.
8. Product testing and qualification experience (including API 6A PR2F).
9. Product support, services, or field services experience.
10. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
11. Established project management skills.
