Lead Architectural Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinates with project discipline and lead engineers to ensure correct implementation of the design for his architectural specialty and coordinates the work of architect within his specialty.
• Prepares and reviews architectural studies, design drawings, calculations and documents, and material and equipment specifications.
• Resolves specialty related architectural issues by applying accepted principles, codes, and standards.
• Analyzes problems and determines critical factors for investigation.
• Organizes and conducts investigations and analysis.
• Participates in the development of new architectural methods.
• Provides expert advice on design processes or construction methods.
• Approves significant changes in specifications and plans, work techniques and materials.
• Determines and schedules work priorities.
• Ensures quality plans are implemented.
• Promotes safety culture.

Desired Candidate Profile

• BS in Architecture and registered as a professional architect with 15 years of significant experience.
• Has experience in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries and is recognized as specialist in a specific architectural field on large to mega projects.
• Must have thorough knowledge of architectural practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications.
