Job Description:

Responsible for the availability, maintainability, enhancement, and delivery of the smelter operation related systems and relevant platforms (Casthouse and Carbon MES, OSI-PI, LIMS, ALPSYS, Quintiq, Telepro, and all relevant MAC OT Production systems).

1. Analyses business processes (Casthouse, Carbon, Smelter).
2. Production Dashboards and report creation as per business requirements.
3. Trains and assists systems users in the proper use of business applications.
4. Collects and provides data and statistics (measures) on systems and/or applications problems and requests.
5. Must take the initiative to continually acquire technical (i.e., Digital Plant, IoT 4.0, etc.) and business knowledge (through self-education & seminars) and apply this knowledge to the role.

Desired Candidate Profile:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering with a minimum of 10+ years Smelter experience.
2. Proven experience in Smelting Operations.
3. Strong knowledge of: Casthouse processes, Smelter processes, MS SQL, SSRS and Reporting, MES (Manufacturing Execution System), LIMS and OSI PI historian platform, Business Analysis and functional collection, Agile methodology, Software life cycle, etc.
