Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Landscape Architect to join our team! In this role you will get to work on the landscape of a new urban development and perform a variety of engineering tasks by applying standard engineering techniques and analyses within a discipline. The Engineer at this level has experience and an increasing proficiency in the utilization of engineering theories and practices, and Company procedures.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Develop unique and creative landscape design solutions for developments across the project.
• Undertake project-related tasks professionally and independently as directed by senior team members.
• Work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage internal resources efficiently when required to achieve results within defined timeframes.
• Be responsible and accountable for allocated tasks.
• Perform other related tasks as directed.
• Understand the design aesthetic and technical components of landscape architecture.
• Know production techniques, procedures, and standards.
• Understand industry codes/standards/health and safety requirements and sustainability regulations.
• Be aware of the regional construction industry, local construction methods and their influence on design decisions.
• Demonstrate a team-oriented and collaborative approach to Landscape Architecture within the design team.
• Utilize technical skills and efficiencies in both standard and specialist computer programs such as Autocad, Revit, Sketchup, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, Land FX, and MS Office Suite programs.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Minimum 8 years of continuous experience in landscape architecture / engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture / Engineering or a related field from an accredited University or College program.
• Excellent verbal and writing skills.
• Fluency in English, verbal and written.

• Possess a strong commitment to quality control for design and technical issues.
• Possess strong communication skills with both internal and external parties.
• A willingness to develop and further landscape architecture / engineering skills and techniques for the enhancement and efficiency of the team.
