Junior Façade Estimator

One of our clients is in the Metal Industry, in Saudi Arabia, and is hiring for the position of Junior Facade Estimator.

Years of Experience: 2-3

Education: Relevant Bachelors or a Masters Degree

Notice Period: Immediate joiners or a maximum one-month notice period.

Job Description:

1. Identifies façade scope of work from received packages/drawings and conducts quantity take off to extract BOQ when needed.
2. Prepares and prices the BOQ of all the items from the drawings and specifications with summarized costing.
3. Analyzes project specifications and drawings to determine material and labor requirements.
4. Gathers, updates, and maintains prevailing market rates of all materials, labor, plant, and machinery.
5. Prepares comprehensive tender documents combining presentations and estimates for final review by the commercial manager.
6. Makes revisions in the prices as per the negotiation outputs informed by the commercial manager.
7. Prepares estimates for design changes in coordination with the technical and operations department.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
2. 1-2 years of experience in cost estimating for curtain wall systems or related construction fields.
3. Ability and willingness to learn.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
5. Excellent communication skills in English.
