School Type: 100% Arab (85% Saudi Nationals)
This is a bilingual school of separate boys and girls campuses, that combine an international curriculum with an ethos that strongly promotes the ideals and culture of the Middle East. All students speak English as a second language.
Qualifications: Bachelor Degree (preferable major in Arabic) plus Teaching Qualification.
This is an overseas hire position.
Applicant must have experience teaching IGCSE & A-Level Arabic.
Experience: Minimum 4 years required, may consider less for the right person.
Curriculum: UK preferred - Should have a working knowledge of the Cambridge Curriculum.
Age Range: Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Gender: Male & Female teachers needed.
Teachers are expected to be part of the KED program in the school, which focuses on personalized learning. The teacher has four major roles: being a personal coach to support each student’s progress, a subject teacher who is an expert in a certain subject, a general teacher who provides support to all students in the school, and a team member in the local and global networks of teachers in the KED Network. Professional development of teachers is a major focus of the KED Program.
