IT Specialist - SAP Support & Manufacturing, Riyadh

Job Summary

Supporting, maintaining, and enhancing business applications, ensuring optimal implementation, performance and seamless operation of SAP S/4 HANA systems. This role involves troubleshooting, issue resolution, user support, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements.

Job Responsibilities

1. IT Support in Manufacturing Environment:
   1. Provide comprehensive IT support for manufacturing operations, focusing on the integration of IT systems with production processes.
   2. Manage and troubleshoot MES (Manufacturing Execution System) interfaces, ensuring real-time data exchange and operational efficiency.
   3. Ensure the smooth functioning of IT infrastructure, including PCs, printers, and network services, within the manufacturing setting.
2. S/4HANA Implementation:
   1. Lead and support the implementation of SAP S/4HANA Implementation project and post Implementation Support.
   2. Good Working knowledge on SAP S/4HANA PP/DS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) module.
   3. Ensure successful integration of S/4HANA with existing MES and other production systems.
3. Production and Quality Control Processes:
   1. Utilize in-depth knowledge of manufacturing production processes and quality control measures to align IT solutions with operational needs.
   2. Work closely with production and quality control teams to automate and enhance manufacturing workflows through effective use of technology.
   3. Experience in QR code and Barcode implementation, including integration with manufacturing systems.
   4. Co-working experience with PLC interfaces, ensuring seamless communication between IT and operational systems.
4. Programming and Database Management:
   1. Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot custom applications and scripts to support manufacturing operations.
   2. Manage databases, ensuring data integrity and availability for critical production and quality processes.
5. Technical Troubleshooting and Support:
   1. Provide expert technical troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
   2. Develop and document technical reports and issue resolution processes to enhance knowledge sharing and operational efficiency.
6. Communication and Documentation:
   1. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in English and Arabic.
   2. Prepare and present technical reports, project updates, and issue resolutions in a clear and concise manner.

Candidate Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. 5-7 years of experience as an IT Engineer in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the industrial sector.
3. Strong understanding of production and quality control processes.
4. Hands-on experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and their integration with IT systems.
5. Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation, Good Knowledge on the PP/DS module.
6. Strong understanding of SAP S/4 HANA architecture and business processes.
7. Knowledge of SQL, database management, and basic ABAP debugging is an advantage.
8. Experience with SAP transport management and system monitoring.
9. Proficiency in programming and database management.
