Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of complex IT and software projects. This role requires a minimum of 6 years of hands-on project management experience, preferably with a focus on software or IT project management. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, an ability to manage teams, and a passion for delivering results on time and within scope.

As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving project initiatives from inception to completion while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. You should bring excellent communication skills, a PMP certification, and expertise in managing cloud-based projects (preferably with experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)). A technical background in Computer Science, IT, or Telecommunications (preferably with a Master’s degree) will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple software and IT projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within scope.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
• Maintain clear communication with all project stakeholders, including team members, vendors, and clients.
• Ensure projects align with organizational goals and business requirements.
• Oversee risk management activities, identifying potential obstacles and proposing effective solutions.
• Report on project progress and performance to senior leadership, managing expectations and providing updates.
• Use Agile, Scrum, and other project management methodologies as required to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement within the project management processes and methodologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 6+ years of hands-on project management experience in IT or software development.
• Certified PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent project management certification.
• Proven experience in managing cloud-based projects (preferably with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)).
• Technical background with a Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Telecommunications.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Motivated, self-driven, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies is highly preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred:

• Prior work experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) or the Middle East region is highly preferred.
• Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
