Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced IT Engineer to join our team for a city infrastructure project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the IT systems and infrastructure necessary to support the project's objectives. This role requires a strong background in IT engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement IT infrastructure solutions to support the city infrastructure project.
2. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
3. Develop and design network architecture, including LAN, WAN, and VPN configurations.
4. Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems by implementing best practices and security protocols.
5. Monitor and specify network performance, providing requirements management.
6. Manage hardware and software installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
7. Conduct regular system audits and provide recommendations for improvements.
8. Document IT infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum 20 years of experience.
3. Proven experience as an IT Engineer, preferably in infrastructure projects.
4. Strong knowledge of network architecture, protocols, and security.
5. Proficiency in configuring and managing servers, storage, and virtualization technologies.
6. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or similar are a plus.
