Job description
Purpose of Job

Jobholders at this level are experienced professionals capable of conducting work with general directions. They are primarily concerned with developing solutions to challenges which require some analysis to understand and resolve, and addressing issues escalated from junior levels. They undertake complex operational activities including developing the IT delivery management framework and guidelines based on best practices and standards. Develop the IT demand delivery plan and leading the execution of IT demand pipeline. Monitor the actual performance of the IT delivery management and communicate periodical reports with corrective actions to all stakeholders for improvement.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Conduct research and benchmark on demand management new trends and best practices, capture current ZATCA demand management practices and guidelines, and accordingly develop the new demand management framework and guidelines.
  2. Collect all inputs related to demand management processes and activities, and review them to identify challenges, and participate in the development of ZATCA demand management processes in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders.
  3. Receive new business and change requests required from IT & Digitization, manage the requests towards ZATCA strategy and towards the IT strategy ensuring efficient planning and prioritization to achieve optimal usage of the ZATCA technology resources and deliver maximum business benefit.
  4. Document and analyse all business and technical requirements, determine structured and high-quality demand’s scope and specification, and develop proper estimation and scheduling of the implementation.
  5. Determine KPIs for Demand Management as well as dashboards, develop regular reports to measure the actual demand performance, track the progress of change requests and projects, and provide periodical reports with recommendations to all stakeholders.
  6. Follow all relevant policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  7. Help in solving escalated problems and provide needed support for junior team to ensure work is carried out in an efficient manner.
  8. Escalate complex problems to the relevant person to ensure cases/issues are closed properly.
  9. Perform other duties as requested.
  10. Train junior staff on the different job activities to ensure transfer of know-how, when applicable.
  11. Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility, and monitor the workflow of subordinates/junior staff.
  12. Support junior staff or direct reports in order to execute their duties according to set policies and processes.
