Job Description:

The Investment Banker position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is a key role in the finance, banking, and insurance industry, responsible for providing strategic financial advice and executing transactions for clients. The job description includes the following responsibilities:

1. Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including company valuations, financial modeling, and due diligence, to assess investment opportunities and provide recommendations to clients.
2. Deal Origination: Identify potential investment opportunities and build relationships with clients. Actively seek new business and pitch investment ideas to prospective clients.
3. Transaction Execution: Structure and negotiate complex financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing, and initial public offerings. Coordinate with various parties involved, such as legal teams and regulatory authorities, to ensure successful deal execution.
4. Risk Assessment: Evaluate risks associated with investment transactions and develop risk mitigation strategies. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and provide insights to clients regarding potential risks and rewards.
5. Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and provide ongoing financial advisory services. Understand clients' financial goals and provide tailored investment solutions to meet their needs.
6. Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes that may impact investment decisions. Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging opportunities and provide strategic insights to clients.
7. Financial Modeling and Forecasting: Develop complex financial models and forecasts to assess the potential financial outcomes of investment transactions. Conduct sensitivity analysis and scenario planning to evaluate different investment scenarios.
8. Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of work.
9. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including analysts, researchers, and legal advisors, to support investment activities and provide comprehensive client solutions.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA) are preferred. Extensive experience in investment banking, financial advisory, or related roles, with a strong track record of successful deal execution. In-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and transactional processes. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to perform complex financial analysis and modeling. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial concepts to clients and stakeholders. Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities. Proficiency in financial software and tools, including Excel, Bloomberg, and other financial modeling software. Knowledge of local and international financial regulations and compliance requirements. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.
