Your Opportunity
We are looking for an Inventory Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the issuance, resupply, and stock level monitoring of uniforms, personal protective equipment (PPE), and fire rescue equipment. Operating in a remote location, the role requires strong planning and logistical coordination to ensure timely availability of critical supplies.
The ideal candidate should have the ability to multi-task and manage various tasks, along with good communication, excellent organisation, time management, and prioritizing skills.
This role will be in a remote location on the West Coast of Saudi Arabia (with potential periodic travel to supplier sites or company headquarters) and will be part of the Fire and Rescue Services team.
Key Accountabilities
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, ensuring availability of uniforms, PPE, and fire rescue equipment.
- Track initial issuance and resupply needs to prevent shortages.
- Monitor consumption trends and adjust procurement schedules accordingly.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize losses and optimize storage efficiency.
- Coordinate with suppliers to manage order deliveries while mitigating delays.
- Work closely with logistics teams to ensure timely transportation of inventory to the remote location.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Generate reports on stock levels, usage rates, and replenishment requirements.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to management on stock optimization.
- Implement a cloud-based inventory tracking system (future integration).
- Ensure all issued uniforms, PPE, and equipment meet fire rescue safety standards.
- Adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements related to inventory management.
Specific Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in emergency services, fire rescue, or industrial safety sectors.
- Strong knowledge of PPE and fire rescue equipment specifications (preferred).
- Proficiency in inventory tracking (manual systems; cloud-based system integration experience is a plus) – Required.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills – Required.
- Ability to work in a remote environment with minimal supervision – Required.
- Strong communication skills.
- Hands-on work in storage facilities and warehouses.
- Collaboration with fire rescue teams, procurement, and compliance departments.
