Inventory Controller

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain accurate inventory accounting records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
2. Perform regular inventory reconciliations and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and accounting records.
3. Prepare detailed inventory reports for financial analysis and management review.
4. Assist in the monthly close process by providing inventory-related information and analytics.
5. Collaborate with the inventory control team to ensure accurate costing and valuation of inventory.
6. Review transactions related to inventory purchases, sales, and adjustments.
7. Contribute to the development and implementation of internal controls related to inventory management.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting, preferably with a focus on inventory management.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and inventory valuation methods.
4. Proficiency in accounting software and inventory management systems.
5. Excellent analytical and detail-oriented skills.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
