Interior Draftsman

Overview:
As an Interior Draftsman Specialist in Woodwork and Joinery Work, you will be responsible for creating and preparing detailed technical drawings and specifications for the production of wood-based interior elements, such as furniture, cabinetry, and joinery components. You will collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and production teams to translate design concepts into precise and accurate construction drawings. Your expertise in woodworking techniques, materials, and manufacturing processes will be essential in ensuring the successful execution of projects.

Requirements:

1. Associate degree or certification in Drafting, Interior Design, Wood Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as an Interior Draftsman or similar role, with a focus on woodwork and joinery projects.
3. Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
4. Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, joinery methods, and construction principles.
5. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to interior woodwork and joinery.
6. Attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings and specifications.
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
8. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
9. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
10. Knowledge of material selection, hardware integration, and manufacturing processes in woodworking.
