Job Description

Our client is a leading health care group with head office at Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. They are one of the fastest growing medical groups in the private health industry in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with 20 branches across the major metros in KSA, including hospitals and medical centres.

They would like to recruit an IT Director.

Job Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement the organization’s IT strategy, in line with the overall business strategy.
2. Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
3. Plan, execute, and monitor IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to specifications.
4. Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of the organization’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and databases.
5. Ensure the organization’s IT systems are secure, reliable, and scalable to meet business needs.
6. Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure quality services and products.
7. Develop and manage the IT department budget, monitor and control costs, and optimize IT investments.
8. Implement and maintain appropriate security measures and protocols to protect the organization’s IT infrastructure and data from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
9. Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to IT governance, data privacy, and security.
10. Provide technical support and guidance to staff members, troubleshoot, and resolve IT issues promptly.
11. Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, such as senior management, department heads, and end-users.
12. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to IT operations and data management.

Job Requirements

Education: Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

Subspecialty: Preferred software development and management.

Licensure: Relevant licensure as per mandatory IT requirement in KSA.

Certification: Certification and expertise in relevant IT domains e.g., CISSP, PMP is a plus.

Experience: Previous experience in a Senior IT management role with 5+ years of experience.

2. Proven experience in IT project management, budgeting, and strategic planning.
3. Knowledge of cybersecurity and risk management principles.
