Overview

We are seeking an Integrity Engineer to join the Southern Area Pipelines.

The SA Pipelines is responsible for transferring all hydrocarbons, crude oils, gases (including sweet and sour products) and LPG from the wells to producing facilities and then to downstream facilities.

The Integrity Engineer's primary role is to provide technical support to pipeline operating facilities through assessing the integrity condition and risk for ensuring pipelines operate safely and reliably.

Key responsibilities

As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:

  1. Focal point for ensuring all integrity related issues are managed.
  2. Analyze pipeline integrity data, identify hazards and make recommendations for mitigating risks.
  3. Review impact of anomalies on pipeline and make recommendations.
  4. Evaluate integrity assessment results to identify the need for additional actions.
  5. Participate in the preparation of hazard identification and risk assessment for pipelines and associated infrastructure.
  6. Develop or suggest improvements to Saudi Aramco engineering standards, procedures and best practices.
  7. Perform technical tasks on onshore and offshore pipeline facilities.
  8. Ensure the technical quality of the work produced and the assigned tasks.
  9. Participate in projects vendor meetings when requested to ensure the pipelines' proper engineering design.
  10. Provide expertise to answer technical queries and lead technical engineering studies.

Minimum requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials or Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized and approved program. It is preferable to have an integrity engineer with at least 10 years of experience.
  2. Carries Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) internal corrosion specialist OR NACE corrosion specialist.
  3. The candidate should hold API 510, API 570, AWS, RBI, and any other certificates related to Inspection.
  4. Familiar with pipelines’ integrity and risk international standards, codes, and best practices that include ASME B31.8, ASME B31.4, ASME B31G.
  5. Experience in conducting Fitness for Service (FFS) assessments for pipelines.
  6. Experience in assessing pipeline corrosion and other threats, including cracks.
