We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to work at our site office in Khobar, Saudi Arabia, focusing on the Engineering Phase of energy and substation projects. The ideal candidate must have 7-10 years of experience, with at least 3 years working on Saudi Aramco projects, and be immediately available.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Design and develop instrumentation systems for energy and substation projects, ensuring compliance with Saudi Aramco standards and project-specific requirements.
Prepare and review engineering deliverables such as instrument datasheets, specifications, and instrumentation layouts.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (electrical, mechanical, and civil engineers) to ensure accurate integration of instrumentation systems.
Perform instrumentation calculations and oversee the selection and specification of instrumentation equipment such as sensors, transmitters, and control systems.
Ensure the proper application of Saudi Aramco standards in all instrumentation designs and systems, focusing on safety, reliability, and efficiency.
Participate in technical reviews, risk assessments, and hazard analysis, providing instrumentation expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
Liaise with procurement and suppliers to specify and select the necessary materials and equipment for instrumentation systems.
Provide on-site technical support, ensuring instrumentation systems are installed, calibrated, and commissioned in line with project requirements.
Manage instrumentation documentation, including technical reports, drawings, and specifications, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and within scope.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards, particularly those set by Saudi Aramco.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
7-10 years of experience in instrumentation engineering, with at least 3 years on Saudi Aramco projects.
Proven experience in the engineering phase of energy or substation projects, specifically in instrumentation design and development.
Familiarity with engineering software tools and industry standards related to instrumentation.
Strong understanding of Saudi Aramco standards and instrumentation system integration in energy and substation facilities.
Excellent communication and coordination skills, capable of working effectively with multi-disciplinary project teams.
Immediately available and willing to relocate to Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
