Instrument Technician vacancy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

We are hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Riyadh. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial and manufacturing settings. This is a contract position with a salary of $1200 per month, with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Responsibilities:

  1. Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters, level indicators, and control valves.
  2. Conduct regular maintenance checks and inspections to ensure proper functioning of instruments.
  3. Diagnose system malfunctions and provide timely solutions.
  4. Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and resolve complex instrumentation issues.
  5. Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times while working on equipment.
  6. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any major issues to management.
  7. Stay updated on industry advancements and technologies related to instrumentation.
  8. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  2. Experience with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various instruments and control systems.
  3. Excellent understanding of electrical circuits, pneumatic systems, PLCs, HMI's, VFDs, etc.
  4. Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints.
  5. Good communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus).
  6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  7. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  8. Willingness to work flexible hours if necessary.

Preference will be given to candidates who:

  1. Have experience working in the oil & gas industry or similar field.
  2. Possess their own visa or have transferable iqama.
  3. Have experience working in the Middle East region.
  4. Are fluent in Arabic.
